Kayla Norfleet was born and raised in Louisville, KY, where her passion for helping others began to blossom from a young age, nurtured by her upbringing in an underserved community. As she matured, she recognized the often overlooked importance of mental health, realizing its profound impact on every facet of one’s life, from personal relationships to professional performance. As a therapist, Kayla is driven by the belief that addressing mental health concerns is crucial for overall well-being.

In 2018, Kayla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Louisville, followed by a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Spalding University in 2022. With over 5 years of experience as a crisis intervention counselor across various organizations, she has honed her skills in providing support during critical moments. Additionally, Kayla gained valuable experience as a student therapist (intern) at the Spalding University Center for Behavioral Health and within a local youth residential treatment facility.

Now a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Kayla is committed to guiding individuals on their path to mental and emotional wellness. Drawing from her diverse clinical background, she specializes in areas such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Kayla prioritizes the creation of a safe and nurturing environment for exploration and empowerment, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.
