My name is Reggie Smith and I am a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and raised in Kentucky. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health & Addiction Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and I have my LPCA Certification.
I’ve always had a passion for working with youth, in which, I have over 20 years of experience serving at-risk kids in the community and providing them with wrap-around services in residential and psychiatric hospital settings. While being a community advocate in Louisville for many years, I had the opportunity to work as a case manager at Youthbuild Louisville where I provided young adults with academic and social support and assisted them with community resources in the Smoketown area. In addition, I am a member of the Kentucky Youth Advocates Council and serve as a youth advocate and a voice for young people dealing with many social and emotional barriers in the community.
